Obituary of Robert J. Mills

TOWN OF CHENANGO - Robert J. Mills "Jake" born May 25, 1938 - October 26, 2018. Graduated from Chenango Forks High School and Broome Community College. He served two years in the U.S. Army, Fort Knox, Kentucky. He worked at NYSEG for 35 years in the computer room. Robert was a founding member and past President of KAA. He loved golfing and played softball at the KAA and was an avid Yankee Fan. Robert was predeceased by brother Paul F. Mills Jr., father, Paul F. Mills, Sr. and mother, Julia Monahan Mills. He leaves behind brother John and Beverly Mills, brother Richard and Beverly Mills and sisters, Maude Adams and Nancy Canaday; and his best friend Karl Faruzel. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Chenango Street, Hillcrest, Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Monday from 4 until 6 p.m.
