I had the honor of meeting Bob through Karl Faruzel. Bob was the motocross coach and what we didn't realize at the time,Bob didn't make us better riders, he made us better people ! Us people in the motorcycle community that knew Bob miss him and will always remember his kindness and he will be our coach in lifes ups and downs forever. Phil Auble

My condolences to Bob's family and friends. I enjoyed visits with him and Karl, he was always a wit and fun to be with. He wasn't always a big fan of the long walks in we used to do in Manhattan, but he toughed it out - and came back for more!

I became friends with Bob through our mutual friend, Karl Faruzel. Bob was unfailingly kind, generous, and steadfast, always ready with a smile, a humorous quip, and a helping hand when needed. Though he was a Yankee fan, and I rooted for the Red Sox, that never led to conflict, but to endless good-natured needling of one another. He was the ideal of what we look for in a friend.
Heartfelt condolences to all of the family and friends who will join me in missing him dearly.

Bob was a true gentleman. He was always upbeat with a positive attitude. I will always remember his last hug. He will be greatly missed.

We will miss you so...miss breakfast at the Clinton St. Diner and beers at the Union.
Most of all I will miss your smile and your funny stories about the Yankees and golf.
The Red Sox won the World Series, ha, ha. Better luck next year.
