Helena Meloro | Visit Guest Book Meloro, Helena Elizabeth Binghamton: Helena Elizabeth Meloro, 69, of Binghamton, died Monday, February 27, 2012, at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. She was predeceased by her parents, Dr. Anthony and Frances Meloro. She is survived by her children, Jenette Taylor and Michael Komula, Owego, Freddie Taylor, Goshen, IN; her grandchildren whom she adored, Kourtney, Marissa, Kyra, Ethane and Vincent; two brothers, Anthony and Mary Meloro, Larry Meloro, all of Atlanta, GA; her aunt, Jane Reed, Endicott; several nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Binghamton Central High School and was a self-employed Private Investigator. She lived an independent life. She had the opportunity to work in the music industry as a booking agent for many old time bands and singers in her early years. One of her favorite and talked about times was working with the late James Brown. She loved police work and old cars. She built her own investigating agency. In her free time, she loved spending time with all of her grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Friday at 10 a.m. Reverend John P. Putano, Pastor of St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Thursday from 5-7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Helen may be made to the American Cancer Society , 13 Beech St., Johnson City, NY 13790.
