Kosick, Stanley F. Binghamton: Stanley F. Kosick, 94, of Binghamton died peacefully Sunday, March 11, 2012, at home after an extended illness with his wife of 64 years at his side. He is survived by his wife, Betty Polhamus Kosick, Binghamton; his daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and John Drabo, Conklin, Dawn and Robert Watson, Binghamton, Mary and Gary Dundon, Lancaster, CA; 8 grandchildren, Diane Boze, Melissa Drabo, Brian, Kevin, and Robert Watson, Gary Dundon, Kristina Wilcher, John Dundon; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Pauline Raimondi, Binghamton; brother, Peter and Marie Kosick, Vestal; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews. He retired from the Binghamton Housing Authority and was a former employee of the Endicott-Johnson Corp. He was a US Army veteran of World War II and a member of VFW Post 578. Stanley enjoyed bowling, golfing, and watching his Atlanta Braves. "Papa" or "Poppy" especially loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who always made him smile. Thank You to Hospice workers Pam, Carolyn, and May, and also to Jim for their compassionate care. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton, Thursday at 10 a.m. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. The family requests that flowers be omitted and expressions of sympathy in memory of Stan be made to Ronald McDonald House, 1027 E. Genesee St., Syracuse, NY 13210 or Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, NY 13850.
