Carney, Arthur E. On January 7, 2012, Arthur E. Carney, 87 years of age, peacefully left this earth and reunites with his wife, Margaret E. Carney. He also reunites in heaven with his parents, Joseph and Celena (Menard) Carney; sister, Celena Duncan; and brothers, Raymond and Eugene Carney. Art is survived by his daughters, Debbie (Ron) Speice and Sandy (Wayne) Delafield; grandchildren, Travis, Tyler, Adam, and Stephanie; and great-grandchildren, Ivy, Bradley, and Emily. Art was born in Muncie, IN and raised in Coraopolis, PA. He proudly served in the Army during WWII and enjoyed time spent working as a barber, and his many years on the A&S Railroad. In his leisure, Art was an avid golfer, loved working in his home and yard, rooting on his Steelers, and always enjoyed a good game of "31" with family. He'll forever be remembered for his infectious smile and tenacious spirit. We love you and will miss you always. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at JG Johnston Nursing Home (STAR Unit) for their compassionate care, especially during his final days. Funeral services will be held in the WAYNE N. TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME, 3475 Brodhead Rd., Monaca, PA on Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. Local arrangements are by the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton.
