Obituary of Mary D. Kozak

Mary D. Kozak, 90, of Binghamton died
Thursday morning, March 20, 2003, at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, N.Y. She
is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Dr. Alan J. Kozak, Cooperstown;
Duane and Carol Kozak, Chenango Bridge; three grandchildren, Lora and Tom
Becker, Jennifer and Jeffrey Hoffman, all of Slingerlands; Steven Kozak,
Arlington, Va.; a great-grandaughter, Caroline Becker; brother, Stephen and
Marge Barna, Rochester, Minn., a sister, Susan B. Dougherty, Binghamton;
several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Binghamton.
Mary was valadictorian in the Class of 1934 at Charles S. Wilson School of
Nursing and worked until retirement in 1978 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital
where she was a night supervisor.
Funeral services will be held at
the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Monday, at 10
a.m., and at 10:30 a.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Church where a Funeral Mass will
be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will
receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m.
