Obituary of Eileen D. Cole

Eileen D. Cole, 66, of Binghamton, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, January 28, 2003. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Luther Rudolph "Rudy" Cole, Binghamton; her children, Ann Nelson, Brooklyn, Darrell and Janice Davis, Atlanta, Ga., Doris Littlejohn, Binghamton, Loretta Marshall, Columbus, Ohio, Luther and Talitha Cole, Raleigh, N.C., Philomena Doug; several grandchlidren; a sister, Adeline Banner; two brothers, Ephram Davis and S.G. Davis, all of N.C. Eileen was a member of Beautiful Plain Baptist Church, Binghamton, a former employee of Singer-Link and former teacher's aide for the Binghamton School District and currently employed at Binghamton University. Funeral services will be held at Beautiful Plain Baptist Church, 93 Riverside Dr., Binghamton, Saturday, at 11 a.m. Rev. Edward O. Williamson, her pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Friday, from 5 to 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Eileen may be made to Beautiful Plain Baptist Church Scholarship Fund, 93 Riverside Dr., Binghamton, NY 13905.
