Kathryn
M. Conlon, 93, of Binghamton, died Saturday evening, December 21, 2002, at Our
Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, William Conlon,
her daughter, Judi Callahan, and her brothers, Thomas, Joseph, James and John
Cadden. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Rita and Eugene
Trovalli, Binghamton, Eileen and William Mlynarczyk, Vestal; a son and
daughter-in-law, Robert and Peggy Conlon, Kings Mt., N.C.; four grandchildren,
Michael Trovalli, Michele Coffman, Robert Conlon, Jr., Timothy Conlon; five
great grandchildren, Josh, Austin, Jenna, Matt, Shane; two sisters-in-law,
Marjorie Conlon and Mary Keough; several nieces and nephews, including William
Cadden, who was very special to Kathryn. She was a member of St. Thomas Aqunias
Church, Binghamton and the Altar-Rosary Society. Kathryn was a volunteer of
Lourdes Hospital; member of Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division II;
member of Ladies of Charity and volunteered at the Nearly New Shop; member of
St. John Vianney Club and Fatima Club. The family would like to thank the staff
at St. Louise Manor and Elizabeth Church Manor for their kindness and care.
Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main
Street, Binghamton, Saturday at 9 a.m. and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas
Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in St. Augustine's
Cemetery, Silver Lake, Pa., in the spring. The family will receive friends at
the McCormack Funeral Home, Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in
memory of Kathryn may be made to St. Thomas CYO, 1 Aquinas St., Binghamton,
N.Y. 13905.
