James P. "Moon" Mullins Sr.,
69, of Binghamton, died Saturday, November 30, 2002. He was predeceased by his
parents, James J. and Marie Mullins; and a brother, Gerald Mullins. He is
survived by his wife of 46 years, Rose Mary (McCormack) Mullins, Binghamton;
his five sons and daughters-in-law, James Jr. and Karen Mullins, Chenango
Bridge, Michael and Christina Mullins, Peckville, Pa., Timothy and Cathy
Mullins, Binghamton, David and Ruth Mullins, Conklin, Richard and Marie
Mullins, Binghamton; 11 grandchildren, Kyle, Meredith, Collin, Caitlin,
Jennifer, Kelly, Patrick, Matthew, Megan, Sean and Mark; a brother and
sister-in-law, Edward V. and Mary Mullins, Binghamton; several nieces, nephews
and cousins. He was a former member of St. Paul's Church, Binghamton, retired
21 year employee of Canny Trucking Co., member of Teamsters Local 693, member
of Binghamton Elks B.P.O.E. #852 and an avid N.Y. Yankee and Notre Dame fan. A
Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Paul's Chruch Tuesday, at 10 a.m. Burial
will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at
the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton Monday, from 4
to 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of "Moon" may be made to
St. Paul's Church, 15 Doubleday St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13901.
