Obituary of John Gunter

John J. Gunter, 62, of Vestal, died Wednesday, November 15, 2000 at Binghamton General Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Mary Gunter. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Beth and Richard Garbade, Endicott; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Janet Gunter, Rochester; his step-mother, Anne Gunter; 2 brothers, William Gunter and Robert Gunter, Binghamton; a special cousin, Kathleen Syron, Binghamton, a nephew, Patrick Gunter, Binghamton and three nieces. He was a longtime employee of Ozalid Corporation. Funeral services will be held at the J. A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Friday at 11:30 a.m. and at 12 noon at St. John the Evangelist Church, Vestal Ave., Binghamton, where a funeral mass will be offered. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Friday from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
