Obituary of Thomas F. Duncan

Thomas F. Duncan, 96, of Binghamton, died Wednesday morning, May 26, 2004, at Binghamton General Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Gertrude Duncan. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Peter Millspaugh, Falls Church, Va.; a son, John Brian Duncan, Woodbridge, Va.; his grandchildren, Kelly Millspaugh, Falls Church, Va., Christopher Millspaugh, Charleston, S.C. Tom was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Church, Vestal, and retired district superintendent for the New York State Department of Labor. He was born in Albany, N.Y., on March 7, 1908. He was an active resident of the St. Louise Manor for the past several years. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Vincent De Paul church, 465 Clubhouse Rd., Vestal, Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Tom may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Church, 165 Clifton Blvd., Vestal, N.Y. 13850.
