Obituary of Gayl L. Edmondson

Gayl L. Cornell Edmondson, 46, of Port Crane, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, June 18, 2003 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Elmer and Shirley Cornell. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Ronald W. Edmondson, Port Crane; her son, Ronie Edmondson; and her daughter, Jo-An Edmondson, both at home; two sisters, Sharon and Diane; brother-in-law, Dave Felker; and several nieces and nephews. She attended West Colesville Baptist Church and was active with Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Gayl had suffered for the last ten years with Rhumatiod Arthritis and Diabetes. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Saturday, at 11 a.m. Rev. Daniel Baker, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Port Crane, will officiate. Burial will be in the Sanitaria Springs Cemetery, Sanitaria Springs, N.Y. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Gayl may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 356 N. Midler Ave., Syracuse, N.Y. 13206.
