Obituary of Patricia Fields

Patricia A. Fields, 60, of Park Ave., Binghamton, passed away Monday,
April 7, 2003, at her home with her husband, Harry, at her side. She was
predeceased by her mother, Margaret Martin; a son, Michael; a brother, Jack;
mother-in-law, Claudine Fields; and a sister-in-law, Beverly Henry. Besides her
husband, she is survived by her loving family, son and daughter-in-law, Mark
and Michele Fields, Utica; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Joe Monahan,
Hawleyton, Debi and John Weber, Danville, Pa., Lori Fields, Binghamton; eight
grandchildren, Anthony and Francesca Fields, Christina, Amanda and Joseph
Monahan, Sarah and Jake Weber, and Adam Fields; sister and brother-in-law,
Barbara and Ed Meeghan; father-in-law, Harry E. Fields Sr.; sister-in-law and
families, Virginia Spry, Joyce and Scott Haight, Betty and Dick Utter, Barbara
and Donald Tripp; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Pat was an employee
of The Price Chopper, where she found true friendship with her co-workers and
customers and thought of them as a second family. The family would like to
thank Hospice and the nursing staff at Wilson South Tower 5, with a special
thank you to Sharon Bennett and sister-in-law, Virginia Spry, for the loving
care they provided.
Funeral services will be held at
the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Friday, 12
noon, and at 1 p.m. at St. Augustine's Church, Silver Lake, Pa. where a Funeral
Mass will be offered. Burial will be in St. Augustine's Cemetery at a later
date. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Thursday, from
5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Expressions of sympathy in memory of Pat may be
made to the Hospice Program, c/o Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, 169 Riverside
Dr., Binghamton, N.Y. 13905.
