Obituary of Helen M. Ash

Helen M. Ash, of Binghamton, died Tuesday evening, February 18, 2003, at Elizabeth Church Manor. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Delia O'Neill Ash; and her brother, William Ash. She is survived by several cousins and a very dear friend, Mary Yager and many close friends. Helen was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton, a retired secretary for Dairlea Milk Cooperative. She was a member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, a member of Ladies of Charity, an avid Notre Dame fan and very proud of her Irish heritage. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Saturday at 9 a.m., and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m.
