Obituary of Catherine E. Chaffee

Catherine E. Chaffee, 96, formerly of 110 Chenango Street, Binghamton, died Friday afternoon, January 24, 2003. She was predeceased by her husband, Merton D. Chaffee. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Raymond Lippert, Moore Haven, Fla., Kathleen and Roger Miner, Lansing, N.Y.; granddaughters, Catherine and Timothy Monforte, Orlando, Fla., Patricia Miner, Stuart, Fla., Michelle and Felix Heimes, Endwell, N.Y., Michelene and Brent Lingle, Cary, N.C., Christine Miner, Houston, Tex., Jennifer and Joe Caza, Freeville, N.Y.; grandsons, Michael and Cheryl Miner, Whitney Point, N.Y., Kyle and Michelle Lippert, Derry, N.H., Keith and June Lippert, Rockledge, Fla.; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a very dear friend, Mary Pratt, Binghamton. Catherine was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Binghamton. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Wednesday at 9 a.m. and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City . The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Tuesday from 3 to 6 p.m.
