Obituary of Eleanor Namen

Eleanor Namen, 89, of Binghamton, formerly
of Orchard Park, N.Y., passed away Saturday morning, August 10, 2002 at
Binghamton General Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward R.
Namen; her parents, Carl and Mollie Larson; and two brothers, Albert Larson and
Bernard Larson. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Geraldine and
Eugene Cahill, Binghamton; nephews, Richard Larson, Ronald Larson, John Larson,
James Cahill, Kevin Cahill, Donald Cahill, David Cahill; two nieces, Ann
Tossell and Carol Tolpa. Eleanor was a member of St. John the Evangelist
Church, Binghamton, and a former member of Nativity of Our Lord Church, Orchard
Park. Eleanor graduated from the University of the State of New York at Buffalo
and taught for 36 years in the Lackawanna, N.Y. school system, and was a member
of the N.Y.S. Retired Teachers Association. A Funeral Mass will be offered at
St. John the Evangelist Church Tuesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Cross
Cemetery, Lackawanna, N.Y. with Graveside services Thursday at 11 a.m.

Association, 55 Washington St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13901 or Our Lady of Victory
Homes for Charity, 780 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna, N.Y. 13218. Arrangements are by
the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, N.Y.
