Marlyn Farrell Wilson, 70, of Vestal died
peacefully Monday September 16, 2002, at her home surrounded by her loving
family. She was predeceased by her
first husband Dr. Jerome T. Farrell; her parents Joseph and Beatrice Murray. She is survived by her husband Kenneth J.
Wilson, Vestal; her children Dr. Jerome T. and Colleen Farrell, II, Binghamton;
Dr.Timothy J.and Valerie Farrell,
Maine, NY; Maureen and Bjorn Merinder, Andover, MA; Dr. Michael A. and
Corinne Farrell, Binghamton; Kathleen and Dr. Michael J. Reynolds, Fairfield,
CT; Kevin and Michelle Farrell, Windham, NH; 26 grandchildren; Marlyns
extended family, Linda Wilson; Laurie Cooper; Luanne and Daniel Rose; Kenneth
J. and Mary Beth Wilson; Her sisters and brothers Barbara Kuklis, Carol and
Albert Pellicciotti; Dr. Donald J. and Marilyn Murray, Joseph and Eileen
Murray; a sister-in-law Denise Murray; several cousins including Edward and Peg
Keating, Dr. John and Sandy Harrington; and her godmother Eleanor Troy; many,
many beautiful nieces, nephews and cousins and a multitude of cherished friends. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament
Church, Johnson City; a member of the Binghamton Country Club. Marlyn was born
and raised in Binghamton; graduated from St. Patricks Academy and the Eastman
School of Dental Hygiene in Rochester, NY.
She practiced dental hygiene at Wilson Memorial Hospital. Marlyn was a dear woman, wife, mother,
sister and friend with great faith, who was loved and respected by all that met
her. Her final days were reflective of
the whole tenor of her life. With
peaceful resignation and in full possession of her dignity and grace she closed
her well spent life. With tender and
affectionate regard we will, in our goodbye, cherish Moms memory and
unconditional love for us all.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at Blessed Sacrament Church, Johnson City,
Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in
Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The
family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main
St., Binghamton, Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
