Obituary of Robert Perkins

Robert Perkins, 72, of Binghamton, died unexpectedly Friday evening, July 13, 2001 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Ethel Perkins, and a brother, Jack Perkins. He is survived by his children, John and Regina Perkins, Pittsburgh, Pa., Robin Ann and Robert Dominguez, Boerne, Tex., Susan and Stuart Jones, Perris Calif., Karen Perkins, Binghamton; four grandchildren, Robert, Matthew, Gabriel and Micaela; sisters and brothers, Marion Jablonsky, with whom he resided, Beverly Robertson, Phyllis Pearsall, Dorothy Perkins, Roland Perkins, Jerry Perkins, Edward Perkins, Marie Perkins; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Dorothy Jablonsky. Bob was a retired employee of G.A.F. Corporation and Anitec. Funeral and interment services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Wednesday at 11 a.m. Rev. Robert J. Sullivan, Chaplain at the Neuman House at Binghamton University, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Bob may be made to the United Way of Broome County, Inc., Vestal Parkway East, Vestal, N.Y. 13850.
