Helen
S. Kloth, 85, of Binghamton and Starlight, Pa., died Wednesday, February 28,
2001, at the James G. Johnston Memorial Nursing Home. She was predeceased by
her husbands, Donald G. Schenk and Dr. Edward Kloth. She is survived by two
sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Laurence Schenk and Dr. Maura Santangelo, Binghamton,
Proctor and Deborah Schenk, Brooklyn, N.Y.; four grandchildren, William Schenk,
New York City, Candace Schenk, Binghamton, Elizabeth Schenk, Watertown, Conn.,
Courtney Schenk, Brooklyn. Helen was born in Starlight, Pa. and grew up in
Brooklyn, where she graduated from the Packer Collegiate Institute. She lived
most of her life in Ridgewood, N.J., where she was a member of West Side
Presbyterian Church, the couples club and an active volunteer with the Red
Cross Thrift Shop. A private memorial service will be held at Hilltop
Retirement Community, Johnson City. Rev. Lea Harding will officiate.

City, N.Y. 13790. Arrangements are by the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141
Main St., Binghamton, N.Y.
