Joseph
D. Roche, of Endicott, died unexpectedly, Friday morning, December 1, 2000 at
Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. He was predeceased by his parents,
Joseph and Nettie Roche. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Patricia
Roche, Endicott; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Gina Roche, Lindenhurst,
L.I.; Patrick and Laura Roche, Yardley, Pa.; two grandchildren, Jake and Julia
Roche; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Theresa and John Adamiak, Taylor,
Pa., Catherine Gacek, Duryea, Pa., Clara and Clem Wyker, Oxford, N.J., Elaine
and Robert Dolan, Duryea, Pa.; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Frank Roche,
Duryea, Pa., Edward and Cindy Roche, Allentown, Pa.; a sister-in-law and
brother-in-law, Ann and David Roslund, Clarks Summit, Pa.; several nieces,
nephews, and cousins. He was a member of St. Ambrose Church, Endicott; a
retired employee of I.B.M. Corporation, Endicott, with over 30 years of
service; and a member of its Quarter Century Club. Most recently he was
employed as a substitute school bus driver for the Johnson City School District
and by Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton as an operator of the Mission
In Motion Vehicle.
Funeral
services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St.,
Binghamton, Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. and at 10 a.m. at St. Ambrose Church, Endicott,
where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery,
Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McComack Funeral Home,
Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in Joseph's name may be made to
the Lourdes Hospital Foundation, 169 Riverside Dr., Binghamton, N.Y. 13905.
