Obituary
Kelleher, James R. Binghamton: James R. Kelleher, 61, of Binghamton, died Tuesday, December 4, 2012. He was predeceased by his parents, John and June Pavely Kelleher. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Judith Earley Kelleher; his sons, Brian and Sean; his brothers, John and Thomas (Andrea) Kelleher; sister, JoAnn Kelleher (David Gorman); mother-in-law, Iona Earley; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mary McCarthy; Sister Katharine Earley C.S.J., Ted and Karen Earley, Becky Earley (Jerry McKinney), Theresa and Thomas Tiffany, Margaret and Jonathan Smith, John and Sue Earley; also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Binghamton, and was previously employed at Synergy Solutions. Jim also worked for many years in the restaurant industry, making numerous and lasting friendships at O'Brien's Danceland, Morey's Restaurant, Plantation House, and Nirchi's on the Avenue. He was a volunteer at Danielle House, Toys for Tots, and the American Cancer Society . The family would like to express their sincere thanks for the excellent care Jim received at B.G.H. Emergency Dept., ICU and Wilson Memorial Emergency Dept. and Cath Lab and Professional Home Care. A special thank you to Dr. John DiMenna for his compassionate care. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Binghamton, Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Thursday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Jim may be made to Danielle House, 160 Riverside Dr., Binghamton, NY 13905; Toys for Tots, 38 Hawley St., Binghamton, NY 13901; or the American Cancer Society , 13 Beech St., Johnson City, NY 13790.
