Obituary of Rita B. Roberts

Rita B. Roberts, 85, of Vestal, died Friday morning, March 8, 2002. She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred S. Roberts; and a grandson, Brian J. Hull. She is survived by her children, Diane and Joshua Hull, Rockville, Md., Steve and Patty Roberts, Boulder, Colo., Mary Ellen and David Martin, Johnson City; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal and a retired banking officer with Fleet Bank. Rita was an avid bridge player and golfer. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Monday at 9:15 a.m. and at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Cemetery of the Holy Rood, Westbury, N.Y. on Tuesday. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Rita may be made to Lourdes Hospital Foundation, or Lourdes Hospice, 169 Riverside Dr., Binghamton, N.Y. 13905.
