Obituary of Edwart T. Dailey, Sr.

Edward T. Dailey, Sr., 94, of Binghamton, died Thursday morning, February 28, 2002. He was predeceased by his wife, Alice (Ford) Dailey; and his son, Edward T. Dailey, Jr. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Joan D. and Robert E. Ryan, Binghamton; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael J. and Sara M. Dailey, Greene; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joseph F. and Catherine (Kitty) Ford, Binghamton, Marjorie Chauncey, Charlotte, N.C.; nieces, nephews and two special and dear friends, Virginia Shipose and E. Leo McDevitt. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Binghamton and the Holy Name Society. Edward was a retired 47 year employee of the Binghamton Press. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. John the Evangelist Church, Binghamton, Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Ed may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church Renovation Fund, 1263 Vestal Ave., Binghamton, N.Y. 13903. Arrangements are by the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, N.Y.
