Emerick, Marlene Regina (Schneider)
of Binghamton, NY and Boca Raton, FL: Went to be with the Lord while her children and her Baby Marla were by her side on St. Patrick's Day in time for Happy Hour after an extended illness. Marlene was predeceased by her grandparents, Anthony and Dominica Capolupo; her parents, Howard and Mary R. Schneider; her significant other of 36 years, K. Bruce Cook; and her sister, Rosalie Holehan. Marlene is survived by her twin brother, Robert Schneider (Gloria); favorite daughter, Tamara Masci Tannen (Marc); her favorite son, Eric Emerick (Raeleen); grandchildren, Michael, Ryan, Little Eric, Victoria, David, Christopher (Ja'Lissa); future great-grandson, Carson; her little baby, Marla. She is also survived by her many, many friends and nieces, Marcia and Tracy. Marlene graduated from BCHS in 1957, went on to work as a telephone operator and also as a cocktail waitress at the Scotch 'N Sirloin and the Endwell House. She was a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary 1254, where she spent many countless hours volunteering. She enjoyed traveling, sunshine, dancing and loved to shop with her adopted daughter, Raeleen Emerick. She was very proud of her villa in Boca and her dream home on the West Side of Binghamton. Marlene touched the lives of many people. She loved everybody and was willing to help anyone in need. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton Monday at 12 Noon. Reverend John P. Donovan will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Sunday from 1-3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Marlene may be made to the Humane Society, 3 Jackson St., Binghamton, NY 13903 or the American Diabetes Association , 6390 Fly Rd., E.
