Obituary of Mary Ellen Mack

Mary Ellen Mack, 62, of Binghamton, died Tuesday evening, May 13, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Anna Mack; and a brother, Patrick. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Julia Mack; grandchildren, Cassidy, Corrina, Cherise, Christopher Jr., and Cheyann; her sisters and brothers, Margaret Mack, Michael and Joann Mack, Anne Marie and Tony Liberati, Jimmy Mack, Kevin and Maggie Mack; uncle, Tom Mack; nieces and nephews, Gabe, Anthony, Sam and Lisa, her fiancé, Marty Crowe; adopted sister, Laurie Weaver; and her dog, "Jack." She was a graduate of Binghamton Central High School. Mary Ellen was a retired employee of the Binghamton School District, mostly working at Horace Mann Elementary School. She loved the outdoors and nature. Her favorite places were the Adirondacks and Genegantslet. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and pets. Always kind, loving, and giving. Memorial services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Saturday at 1 p.m. Rev. Corey S. VanKuren will officiate. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Mary Ellen may be made to the Humane Society, 2 Jackson St., Binghamton, NY 13903.
