Chris was a top student in my fluid dynamics courses at Temple University, and was always engaged in the topics we covered. I will always remember him as the first to ever, in any course, ace of my exams. I'm happy to read that he worked in the aerospace field after leaving Temple, as he was inspired by these subjects.

I met Chris through the yoyo community around 2020. He was somewhat local to me and we hit it off immediately. Chris was incredibly kind and immensely talented. He designed and 3D printed beautiful counterweights (a piece of equipment used for yoyoing) that I cherish to this day. Chris visited my home for a couple days when I hosted a bunch of yoyoers to play disc golf all around the area in spring 2022. At the time I had no idea of his diagnosis, and he hiked and played along with us all day. That evening Chris used my kitchen to cook up Spiedies for everyone, an upstate NY delicacy that I had never heard of in my life. It was delicious. Chris told me where to buy the best spiedies marinade and I now keep my pantry stocked. I feel really lucky to have known Chris for the short amount of time that I did, and I’d like to let his family and friends know how much of a positive impact he made on my life. I will miss him a lot. Rest in peace, Deemie.

Though I knew him but briefly, he was a dear friend whose memory I will cherish dearly. My condolences to everyone affected by his loss, especially his family. Sending love from Lisbon, Portugal.

Q: How did you meet Christopher?
A: Chris and I met my freshman year in the dorms. He lived with a former college soccer teammate of mine, and quickly became part of the soccer crew. When he wore he track jacket around campus, some people would even ask if he was on the team! Chris and I developed a terrific relationship throughout the years, we spent many days talking about life and throwing sarcastic jokes at one another. But something we bonded over the most was our Philadelphia Phillies (the picture was from after we went to the 2008 parade!). Chris was a loyal friend and someone who showed remarkable dedication to everything he put his heart and mind into. He was a constant fighter throughout every moment I knew him. I am truly honored to have called him a great friend. Love you brother.

I recall a great memory in college Chris would play Halo and get absurdly mad when being sniped. It was just so fun to watch him go nuts :) I’ll miss that! RIP Chris. You were a good egg.

I will treasure my fond memories of Chris in our efforts together to help our community recover from a devastating flood. His subtle sense of humor that I appreciated so much, and his fresh perspectives on things keeping me and others honest and open-minded. I truly believe that he has been welcomed into the arms of the Lord and receives eternal peace and comfort.
