Andrew "Drew" Santacroce
11/02/1962 - 12/31/2023
On Saturday night, Dec 30th, Sister Death came to escort Drew Home to his Lord after a courageous journey facing cancer. Drew was pre-deceased by his father Andrew Santacroce, his mothers Dorothy O'Hedy Santacroce and Barbara Misenti Santacroce, sisters Candice Misenti Becktel and Judy Misenti, brother Arnie Misenti and his in-laws Chris & Frieda Temple.
He will be greatly missed and prayed for by his wife Ann Temple Santacroce, brother Keith Santacroce and sisters Gretchen (Fred) Cacace, Carla (Jim - his best friend) Bridgewater and Terri (Carl) Arsenault along with a flock of wonderful nieces and nephews and their respective families, his brothers -in-law Chris, John and Joseph Temple, special friends Dave Faust, Tammy Archeval and so many others.
Drew worked in the food service industry in the family business for many years before moving to Binghamton and finding his true calling serving the elderly at Good Shepherd Fairview Home for most of the past 12 years. His desire to bring joy to those around him made it the perfect fit for him. Anyone who knew him also knew of his great love of music, which ended up being a great comfort to him in the final weeks. That love carried him to numerous record stores and dozens of concerts over the years. Drew & Ann (and often Tammy) also enjoyed numerous outings to enjoy God's creation in the many local and state parks and "shenanigans" at Destiny mall.
Special thanks goes out to Lourdes Hospice, in particular nurse Lauren Nelson, Christa Webb, Deacon Michael Donovan and Lori Sciamanna and to Msgr. John Putano for their caring and compassion along Drew's journey.
