Barb was a force of light, energy, kindness and extraordinary at carrying out her passions. We are all better for knowing her She made countless people's lives better. I thought of this Shakespeare quote as soon as I heard of Barb's passing. "And when she shall die, take her and cut her out in little stars, and she will make the face of heaven so fine, that all the world shall be in love with night and pay no worship to the garish sun'. Barb will be remembered for always.

Barb was so sweet. I always felt comfortable working with her at Outreach Ministries, when I was volunteering there. She always seemed busy with managing everything. Although she would take an extra moment to offer you coffee or toast in the morning if you were a volunteer. She always projected the attitude of one who has a vision, sort of like Dorothy Day. If anything she was the Southern Tier's very own "Dorothy Day." I can't think of anyone better to compare her to. But of course she really was the most unique, industrious and friendly person we could hope to have managing Outreach Ministries. Sometimes people just take up their vocation and run with it and that is definitely what she did. She left a legacy that we can all look to for inspiration. God bless her.

So sorry to learn of Barb's passing. I have only fond memories of her. We met through mutual friends the Gardners, but our paths crossed several times during the years. I remember she was part of the chase crew when we went on a hot air balloon ride, and would see her at Roberson when it came time to decorate trees there. She had such a knack for that, I remember seeing some of her other "works" out and about , I always wanted to be "mentored" by her, to see if I could pick up some tips that she had such an artistic knowledge of. She had such a warm smile. Condolences to Brian and other family members.

Because of Barb Donnelly, there are people who did not have to spend last night on a riverbank., Because of Barb Donnelly, this very day, there are street people that have a warm winter coat, gloves and a blanket. Because of Barb Donnelly, this very day, there are people who have food to feed themselves and their families. Because of Barb Donnelly, this very day, there are people who have the strength and support to walk the long road to recovery. I was so blessed to work aside Barb in the pantry at Saint Patrick’s church! She was very dedicated, determined to help anybody in need! I spoke with Barb via text message a couple times before she passed. She made my advent wreath every year for Christmas She never mentioned she was sick. I told her I was in retirement mode and that I would have extra time and would love to help out in the pantry again she told me to get back to her when I retire! That was the last time I spoke to her rest in peace Barb you will be missed! You are now home in the hands of our father!
