Susan M. Eckhardt of Binghamton, New York passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at her home on the southside of Binghamton that she took great pride in for the past 31 years. She was born on November 3, 1946 in Binghamton to Robert and Rita Hull. Moving to Endwell in grade school, she graduated from Maine-Endwell Senior High School in 1964 and remained a proud Spartan for her entire life, serving on the Board of Education from 1983 through 1985, and being involved in many class reunions in the years since graduating. She graduated from Broome Tech in 1966 with an associate degree in accounting and worked for several companies in the Binghamton area until retiring from Time Warner Cable.
She is survived by her sons, Jack (Jennifer), and Michael (Deborah), grandchildren Madysen (Ryan) Hargett, Nicholas Eckhardt, and Cassidy Eckhardt, sister Patricia Mannheimer, and brother Robert (Theresa) Hull, several nephews, her ex-husband John Eckhardt, and her best friend of over 60 years, Cheryl Brown.
Funeral Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Friday at 1 p.m. Rev. James P. Serowik will officiate. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
