Mr. Dixon made a lasting impression on me for the deep passion he had for the things he loved. He loved to learn, to teach, and to share his knowledge. He had an unparalleled respect for art and history. He was a remarkable man who will be missed by many. My deepest condolences to Mrs. Dixon, the family, and all those who shared in the wonderful life they made together.
