Rangitsch, Earl L. Binghamton: Earl L. Rangitsch, 90 of Binghamton, died very peacefully Friday January 31, 2014 at his home after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Ellen M. Rangitsch; his children, Joseph and Maureen Rangitsch, Lucinda Dodge, all of Marietta, GA, Lawrence and Theresa Rangitsch, Newark Valley; four grandchildren, Phillip, Thomas, Sandra, Dallas; one great-granddaughter, Helen; several sisters and brothers in the Western United States; several nieces and nephews. He was a member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, Binghamton. He was a retired electrical engineer at General Electric Corporation with over 25 years of service. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of U.S. SUBVETS, American Legion Post 1645, and the Knights of Columbus Peter T. Campon Council #206. Earl enjoyed gardening and was a Ham Radio Operator. A Funeral Mass will be offered at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, Binghamton Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Earl may be made to Lourdes Hospice Program, 4102 Old Vestal Road, Vestal, NY 13850.
