Q: What will you never forget about Kevin?
A: Uncle Kevin always knew how to make people laugh. He was always the one at family gatherings who helped you cherish older times. Whether it was the Schaefer beer jingle or some other comical story from the family’s upbringing, Uncle Kevin always knew how to really cherish and share those memories with the rest of us. I for one would not have been successful without him. Uncle Kevin helped me pull myself out of debt and never failed to take time to talk with me whenever I had a good, or bad, day. As we got older, we shared a weekly (or as close to weekly as possible) phone conversation where we’d talk about life and all the things going on. From the earliest days of his battling Leukemia to up until the end, Uncle Kevin became one of the closest family members I’ve ever had. He was -and still is- a pillar of inspiration in my life. I never knew him to be a selfish man, and the effort and care he showed for those in his life truly resonates just how much he loved all of us. I realize there will forever be a void in my heart that can’t be replaced from your passing, but I know I’ve learned so much from you and grown into such an amazing man that everything you instilled in me will resonate to others throughout my life.

Uncle Kevin was one of the funniest uncles to hang out with. I will always remember his infectious smile, laugh, and funny jokes. He always knew how to make me laugh so hard when he would be singing by the fire. He was a wonderful man with such a huge heart. Uncle Kevin was always giving and helping out where ever he could. I will always remember uncle Kevin as someone who was strong, loving, caring, and such a fun guy to be around. You usually could catch uncle Kevin golfing, gardening, hosting a 4th of July party, helping out a friend, or just having a great time. I especially remember watching the bike races at his house across from Rec park. Uncle Kevin will be missed by so many. I love you always and forever uncle kev.

Kevin was a great brother. He was a good friend to many and helped a great number of people with home remodeling projects. Kevin was very witty and his favorite song to sing at family get togethers was “She Had Em”!. He assisted family members with repairs, finances, etc. He loved to golf and supported Tom and Winnie’s many community fund raisers! He was instrumental in caring for our mother after dad passed away. He once drove cross country with brother John in Pandora’s Box. How that van ever made it, was a miracle. There wasn’t a room for a mouse it was so packed. Kevin enjoyed playing baseball and softball when he was younger and always made time for fishing, playing cards and of course golf. He was a father to many and cared deeply about his brothers, sisters and had many close friends. God Bless you Kevin! You will be remembered and missed. Love You Forever! To much
