Stuart D. (Stu) Burdick of Binghamton, NY age 89, died on February 16, 2023. He was predeceased by his parents Newton & Marian Burdick of Clifford, PA, his first wife Ruth (Scott) Burdick, second beloved wife of 56 years Karyle (Kuehner) Burdick and three grandchildren. He is survived by his brother Richard (Joan) Burdick and children Sandra (Joseph) Shenot, Tamara (Dennis Mudge) Carley and Todd (Lillian) Burdick and grandchildren, Thomas, Abigail, Katherine, Richard, Elizabeth, Kylie, Joseph, Rachel and great grandchildren Richard Jr., Chloe, Anabelle and Sophie; also by many nieces and nephews. He was born in Clifford, PA, graduated from Harford High School and Keystone College at LaPlume, PA. He served four years in the United States Air Force, on the Boeing B-29 Flying Super Fortress, during the Korean Conflict. Stu spent over 33 years with Ansco, GAF & Ozalid Corporation in various management positions. He enjoyed his family & friends to the fullest and was involved in Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and little league. He enjoyed camping with friends and family at Kellystone Park and other spots. Had many summer vacations to the seashore, historical sites and relatives around the USA. Funeral Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Wednesday at 11 a.m. Rev. David C. Seaver will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Stu's memory may be made to Lourdes Hospital Foundation (Hospice) 169 Riverside Drive, Suite 103, Binghamton, NY 13905 or to the Alzheimer's Association at www.act.alz.org.
