Obituary of Sharon L. Wood

Sharon L Wood May 29, 1946 -January 18, 2023 The world lost an angel today. Sharon left this world to be reunited with her mother, father, brothers and sister, all she so desperately missed. Sharon is survived by her husband of over 60 years Gilbert Wood. Her children and spouses, Shawn (Kevin) Normile, Michael (Ann) Wood, Anthony (Shelley) Wood, Gina (Shaun) Brady and Joseph (Shawn) Schorno. She is also survived by her grandchildren Roman (Kristen) McLarney, Kasey McLarney, Antonio Wood, AJ (Alissa) Wood, Brody (Kayla) Wood, Kayla Cummings, Kelsey Cummings and Ethan Brady. Also her great grandchildren, Bella, Lexi and Kendall McLarney, Sophia Mclarney and Hudson Wood. She would do anything for anyone of them, all they had to do is ask. She also left behind nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sharon worked for Broome Developmental until her retirement in 2012. There she made many great friendships that lasted her a lifetime. All who knew Sharon loved her and her witty personality. Sharon loved shopping and scratch off tickets. Both of those she could spend hours doing. Sharon was a very private person, for that reason Sharon's final resting request was no public services. The family will have their own private service at a later date.
