Obituary of Thomas W. Murphy

Thomas W. Murphy, 80, of Binghamton, Died Tuesday December 27, 2022. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Frances (Coy) Murphy and his son Thomas W. Murphy. He is survived by his daughters, Constance Murphy and Susie; his sister Nancy and Richard Thomas and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his sisters Helen (Colwell) Oakely, Frances Byers, Rosemary Scordino, Rita Hattala and Kathleen Dundon and by his brothers William, Joseph and James. He was retired from Susquehanna Valley School District and raised Black Angus cattle. He drove a bus after retiring. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Johnson City in the spring.
