Obituary of Bonita L. Cleveland

Bonita L. (Finch) Cleveland, 86, of Chenango Bridge, passed away peacefully on Thursday November 24, 2022. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, George, in 2016. Bonita is survived by her children, Linda Cleveland, Raleigh, NC; Diana and her husband Daniel Campoli, Raleigh, NC and her beloved son, George M. Cleveland of Chenango Bridge. Grandma leaves behind her cherished grandchildren that she loved so much: Matthew Campoli, Jeremiah Campoli and his wife Stephanie and their daughter, Cora, Mom's great granddaughter she embraced and loved so much; Danielle (Campoli) White and her husband Andrew White. Bonita (Bonnie) worked at Lourdes Hospital in the nursery for over 25 years before she retired. We will remember Mom for her smile, laugh, faith and her selfless love of all. Private funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton. Rev. David C. Seaver will officiate. Burial will be next to her husband George in Chenango Valley Cemetery, Hillcrest. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Bonita may be made to the Humane Society, 167 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton, NY 13903. The family will receive friends at Bonita's home at 32 Patch Road, Binghamton, NY 13901 on Monday, November 28, 2022 beginning at 3 p.m.
