Anthony "Tony" Prencavage went to be with his Lord on December 28, 2021. He was born on November 2, 1932, in Mt. Carmel, Pennsylvania to Anthony and Violet (Walerie Prentkiewicz). Both parents are deceased. Tony enjoyed his life! He attended Dickson City High and played football. He loved football. He served our country during the Korean War driving a tank for the US Army. To provide for his family, he was an employee of IBM for 35 ½ years. He was happy in his retirement! Tony married Geraldine A. "Gerri" Prencavage on July 12, 1955. They were married for 66 years! Tony is survived by his wife, Gerri, and his three (3) daughters: Kathryn Manilenko, Delmar, NY, Patricia Bettencourtt and John McCall, Mechanicville, NY, and Judith Marie Defibaugh, Delmar, NY. Tony loved his grandchildren: Kevin Manilenko, Kristopher (& Ashley) Manilenko, Matthew Bettencourtt, Kristina Bettencourtt, Stephanie (& Ross) Gomez, and Joseph Anthony Defibaugh. He loved his great-grandchildren: Landyn Bettencourtt and Ross Louis Gomez. Anthony was a communicant of St. Vincent De Paul Blessed Sacrament Churh, Vestal.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church, Clubhouse Road, Vestal, Monday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church, Monday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Expressions of sympathy in Tony's memory may be made to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 N. McKinley Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760. May he rest in peace, Amen! Pray for him in Eternal Rest!
