Obituary of Ann C. Mearin

Ann Mearin (Longo) of Binghamton went into eternal peace December 9, 2021 at Susquehanna nursing facility. She was predeceased by her husband Francis Mearin; her sisters Philomena Longo, Marguerite Klement, Josephine and Joseph Sotak, Angie and Bob Pflug, her brother Vito and Margaret Longo. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Ann was a member of St Cyril's church and was very active with her late husband/Owner Francis of the Mohican market Binghamton. She was a member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Church, Binghamton. Ann liked to cook and entertain; she also was a regular at Little Venice back in the day. She enjoyed going on cruises and going to the lake with her friend/partner Robert Reid who has since pre deceased. Ann beat the odds with multiple sicknesses over her life and always kept a positive attitude. We will all miss her; she is the last survivor/legacy within the Longo group of sisters and brother. A private Funeral Service will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Tuesday with Rev. Msgr. John P. Putano officiating. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
