Obituary of Kathleen Weug

Kathleen Weug, of San Francisco, passed away on September 4, 2021 after a short illness. Kathy, as she was known, was born in Binghamton on October 2, 1944. She was the daughter of the late John E. and Elizabeth H Weug. After graduation from SUNY Cortland, she taught French and Latin at Mohawk High School in Mohawk, NY, before moving to San Francisco where she resided for over fifty years. In addition to her parents, Kathy was predeceased by her brother John E. Weug, Jr. She is survived by her sisters, Elizabeth Secrest and Sally Hallahan. Funeral Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 12 noon. Rev. Msgr. Michael T. Meahger will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 12 noon.
