Sandy and Linda, and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Amy's passing. I cannot even begin to imagine what you’re going through and how difficult all this must be for you. Although no words can really help to ease your loss, know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I knew Amy as a classmate of our son. When I’d run into her when running errands, she always had a kind comment, and a smile. I knew about her work with Habitat for Humanity. She was a shining light for good that the world lost far too soon. Heaven has gained a new angel. Our deepest condolences to all Amy’s loved ones.

Amy Hawk Winnans made a real difference in so many people’s lives over the years. We remember her warm smile, her determination to accomplish seemingly impossible tasks, her caring approach to everything, and her tireless energy. Bob, Abby, Sandy, Ed and all members of the Hawk Winan Families - we are so sorry to hear of Amy's passing. There was never a time that we saw her that she didn't have a smile on her face and her bright optimistic out look on life. And 99% of the time she was with her best friend and daughter Abby, always beaming with pride. Last time we chatted we both talked about the excitement of the coming adventure of our two graduating seniors. The world was a better place because she was in it. She will definitely be missed by many.

I was shocked and heart broken to hear of Amy’s passing. We first met when our girls were both in junior book club at the Endicott Library a number of year ago. As the years passed we kept bumping into each other at events and activities with our girls. Any always had a smile and time for a chat. The world has lost an amazing woman, wife and mother. Bob and Abby, our prayers and tears are with you. Birgit

My beautiful friend Amy. Always with a smile and a positive word. Since we met in elementary you have been a blessing to my life. Your encouragement and light heart outlook on life was second to non.
It was definatly a god send to see you in Lowe’s and talk for a while. How beautiful you were and will always be remembered by me. How we have grown.
I know god has his reasons for needing you but I honestly have to say that your light was something this world needed here a lot more. Especially in these times of disheartenment amongst the world. You have always been a light to anyone who crossed paths with you.
I have thought of you so often throughout the years but did not pick up the phone. All I can say is thank you for even just our time in Lowe’s this year to reminisce and laugh! How I loved your laugh. So genuine and full of life. The love you gave us we are blessed to have felt. There is no other like you and never will be. You have a beautiful daughter who is an amazing young woman because of the love you gave. Abigail will be such a wonderful woman because of you. I can honestly say I haven’t been half the mom and mentor you have been.
I’ll miss you Amy Hawk Winans as often as before but now I can’t just pick up the phone.
I will however be able to cherish seeing you in Lowe’s and having the best conversation of the year!!
To my beautiful friend, I thank you Amy for loving me for who I was without expectations and I will always hear your words of encouragement and kindness.
May you get the most beautiful wings to fly!
God speed my friend till our next encounter.
