Dear Dan, Paul, and Alexis,
I am so saddened to hear about your mom's death. I remember her well during my childhood, and I always thought she was so kind and gentle and the prettiest "Mary Tyler Moore" mom of all the ones I knew in Binghamton. It sounds like she had an extraordinary life and was blessed by her children and their families. What a gift to have grandchildren and great-grandchildren of which I'm sure she felt so proud. It's a pretty shocking moment to lose a surviving parent, regardless of age or circumstance. But you were clearly so lucky to have her in your lives for all these years, and I hope your treasure trove of memories will bring you strength and comfort as you move forward. I will always recall your mom as such a very lovely, classy, and sophisticated woman, and I am grateful for that image. I am thinking of your family. Warm regards, Janis Goodman
