Obituary of Thomas J. Mack
Please share a memory of Thomas to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Thomas J. Mack went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 13, 2021 after a short illness. He was predeceased by his parents John & Mary and wives Blanche(Humphrey), Suzy (Katcher), special loved one Bev Bockstahler, brother and sister-in-law James E. Mack and Ann (Balok), niece Mary Ellen Mack, nephews Patrick and James Mack. He is survived by his nieces and nephews Margaret Mack, Anne Marie and Anthony Liberati, Michael and Joanne Mack, Kevin and Maggie Mack, Anne Semo, Amy Lambertson, Matt Humphrey and great nieces and nephews all of whom he (in his words) " enjoyed special times with for which I am eternally grateful." He was an IBM retiree with over 35 years of service, a veteran of WWII who served in the US Navy during the Normandy Invasion and received a presidential unit commendation for assault crossings on the Rhine River. He often said he was blessed with a good life having had many close and caring friends and golf and skiing buddies while enjoying diverse activities such as flying, golfing, skiing, scuba diving, tennis and world traveler, but no place like home, and now eternity. A special thanks to the staff at the Homestead for making a home away from home for our Uncle Tom.
