Obituary of Frances M. Manni

Frances Marie Manni, 90, of Binghamton passed away peacefully on Monday, December 28, 2020. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Joseph, and parents Anthony and Mary DePalmo. She is survived by her four children, Juliann Davenport (William) of Owego, NY, Arthur Manni (Teresa) of Newport Beach, CA, Michael Manni (Kristin) of Binghamton, NY and James Manni (Lydia) of Baltimore, MD; 11 Grandchildren, Christina (Kenneth), Joseph, Derrick, Matthew, Melissa, Michelle (Michael), Michael (Katie), Patrick, Sophia, Leo, Daniel (Hannah).7 Great Grandchildren, Celia, Caroline, Carson, Noah, Olivia, Joseph and Thomas. Also survived by her brother Leonard DePalmo (Roberta), sisters-in-laws, Grace Mariani and Delores Augostini and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Lourdes Hospice, Pat, Crystal and Arcissa for the loving care given over the last few months. Born and raised on the Southside and life-long member of The Parish of Saints John and Andrew, Binghamton. Frances was devoted to family and faith. She and the love-of-her-life, Joe, were blessed with 50 years of marriage and owned several Mister Donut shops. Matriarch of a large, loving family, Frannie Manni also became an adored fixture at Manni's Restaurant. Magician in the kitchen, her food was enjoyed at the restaurant and the kitchen counter at 20 Genesee Avenue. Though she had wonderful European adventures, her home was always her world. She will be deeply missed. A Funeral Mass will be offered at The Parish of Saints John and Andrew, Vestal Avenue, Binghamton, Tuesday, January 5 at 11:00 A.M. The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on The Parish of Saints John and Andrew Facebook page. Burial for immediate family will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.
