Obituary of John C. Carr

John C. "Johnny Carr Superstar", 46, of Binghamton, died Sunday, September 29, 2013. He is survived by his daughter, Charley Jean Carr; his parents, Corky and Dottie Carr; his sisters, Tammy and Edgar Cabrera, Marcie and Tim Harrington, Colleen and Chad Woollett; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; the mother of his child, Dani Drake; his former wife, Sarah Santoni Carr. He was a graduate of Johnson City High School Class of 1985 and a bartender at several local establishments for many years. He enjoyed fishing and sports. Johnny never met a person he didn't like. He was loved and respected by many people. The family would like to thank all of his friends and family who have been there always. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton, Wednesday at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. The family requests that flowers please be omitted and memorial contributions be made to The Charley Jean Carr Trust, PO Box 462, Johnson City, NY 13790.
