Obituary of Ann Marie Mayer

Ann Marie Mayer, 91, of Binghamton, died Friday morning, November 16, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Cecelia (Tierney) O'Brien, her husband of 50 years, William C. Mayer, her brother Jack O'Brien and sister Kathryn O'Brien. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, M. Colleen and L. David Zube, Binghamton; her sons and daughters-in-law, James and Marie Mayer, Marlton, NJ, David and Cheryl Mayer, Cape May, NJ; grandchildren William M. Smey (Heather), Joseph L. Smey (Amy), Jason A. Smey (Brooklyn), Megan E. Smey (Josh), Kimberly M. Smey (Squall), Erin M. Mayer, Peter D. Mayer, Katie A. Mayer, Shea L. Mayer and Scott Hubosky (Amy); great-grandchildren Emma M. Smey, Daniel P. Smey, Eleanor A. Smey, Adam M. Smey, Elijah J. Smey, Madalyn A. Smey, Lillian R. Smey, Devon Hubosky, Gabriel Hubosky, Avery Hubosky and Caden Hubosky, Ann Marie was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Binghamton and a former member of St. James Church, Johnson City. She was a retired Real Estate Broker after 40 years of service, retiring at the age of 76 from Coldwell Banker. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Highland Avenue, Binghamton, Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Ann Marie's memory may be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1 Aquinas Street, Binghamton, NY 13905.
