Obituary of Nicholas C. Minoia

Nicholas C. Minoia, beloved father and brother went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2018. His loving wife, Marian passed in 2008. He is survived by his loving children, two sons, Nicholas W. and wife Danielle Minoia, Mark A. Minoia, two daughters, Tamara and husband David Scelsi, Christine and husband Jeff Gresham. Six grandchildren, Jason and Olivia Minoia, Eric and Amanda Burchell, Dane A. Minoia, Ryan and Emily Gresham; two brothers, John and wife Alice, Jerry and wife Cathy and sisters Nicolene and Marie, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. He will fondly be remembered by friends and family for his caring, friendly heart. His love and knowledge of classic cars was also well known and admired by many. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. His many talents included auto mechanics, billiards and karaoke. He loved tennis and exploring car shows. He enjoyed Sundays at the family owned flea market where he visited with his cherished family and friends. The family would like to thank the heart team at the (CVICU) at Wilson Hospital where he received extraordinary care. Funeral Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 4 p.m. Rev. Msgr. Michael T. Meagher will officiate. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Wednesday August 29, from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Nicholas' memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
