Obituary of Coleen Youngstrom

Coleen Gourley Youngstrom, 56 of Vestal died unexpectedly Monday September 25, 2017 at her home. She was predeceased by her son Brandon Youngstrom and her parents Patrick and Kitty Gourley. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Stephen Youngstrom, her sons and daughter-in-law Christopher and Ashley Youngstrom, Nicholas Youngstrom and Katherine Nellis; grandson Austin Youngstrom; brother Patrick Gourley; cousins Julie Gourley, Donna Golkin, Tammy Yacos, Thomas Gourley; Aunt and Uncle Thomas and Marilyn Gourley; Godmother Nancy Borruso and her loving dogs Jack and Chloe. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church, Vestal; Graduate of Chenango Valley High School in 1978; Retired employee of the Broome Developmental Center with 36 years of service and was a Supervisor for several state group homes serving the developmentally disabled. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Vincent de Paul Blessed Sacrament Church, Clubhouse Road, Vestal Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Thursday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Coleen's name may be made to the B.Y.
