Obituary of Edward E. Fish

Edward E. Fish, 79, of Chenango Forks, passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 11, 2017 at his home, surrounded by family and friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Penny. He is survived by his wife, Linda; his children, Eddie, Debbie (Joe), Greg (Andrea), Brett, Jill, Ty (Ashlee), Bob (Kathleen), Julie (Lewie), and Derek (Monica); eighteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Ed served in the US Navy, after which time he then became the owner of a barbershop and several other businesses', including E.F. Auctions. Ed also loved music, and spent time singing and playing the guitar in bands. He enjoyed sports, but most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Friday at 1 p.m. Reverend Matt Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery, Hillcrest. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
