Anne (Baranik) Bartnicki, 89, of Chenango Bridge passed into the arms of the Lord on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Susquehanna Nursing & Rehab Center, after a brief illness. She was born March 11, 1928 in Olyphant, PA. Predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Henry, her parents, Jordan and Anna Baranik, sisters Mary Guralny, Sr. Nadia Baranik, MSMG and Olga Jadick, and brothers Al, Marty and Andrew Baranik. Survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Sharon and Lochiel Phillips and Margaret and Greg Tatich and her grandsons Henry Phillips, Peter Phillips and Vincent Tatich. She is also survived by one sister Dorothy (Teddy) Norovich and many nieces and nephews. She was a retired home health care aide and was actively involved in St. Christopher's Parish for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Church, Binghamton. Anne was a very special mother and grandmother who was devoted to her faith, enjoyed cooking/baking favorite ethnic recipes, bowling, watching the Yankees and good Polka dancing. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Paul's Church, Binghamton Friday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Anne may be made to The Children's Home, Community & Donor Relations, 1182 Chenango Street, Binghamton, NY 13901.
