Gail Zellers, 86, of Binghamton died Saturday, November 11, 2016 at Mercy House of the Southern Tier. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Jerry; her parents Edward and Vesta Henderson; her sisters and brothers-in-law Beverly & Don Beardsley, Shirley & Ray Conroy, sister Sylvia Cotcamp; a brother and sister-in-law Edward & Louise Henderson and brother-in-law Joe Conaty. She is survived by her sister Phyllis Conaty, brother-in-law Hugh Cotcamp and several nieces and nephews. She enjoyed traveling the world with her sisters Phyllis, Shirley, Sylvia and her brother-in-law Hugh. Aunt Gail was that special Aunt, and second mother to many. She had an infectious laugh and caring heart; she always had time to listen and offer steady guidance. We were blessed to have her in our lives. The family would like to thank the staff at Mercy House of the Southern Tier and the physicians at Endwell Family Physicians as well as her special caregiver Celia from Home Instead Senior Care. Funeral Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Saturday December 3, 2016 at 1 p.m., Rev. David C. Seaver will officiate. Burial will be in Quaker Lake Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 N. McKinley Ave, Endicott, NY 13760.
